An Influenster Review

It has been a while since I have posted even a weekend update and today I am here to talk soup. But not just any soup, Imagine Super Reds Creamy Soup. My family and I are lover of soup and sandwich night, especially a creamy soup that we can dip our cheese or peanut butter sandwich in.

Last night we tried out the Super Reds soup, it is made with beets, red lentils, cranberries and coconut cream. At first when I opened my Influenster box with my two samples inside (the other being chicken broth) I was a little put off by the "beets"... I mean, gross, then add the cranberries and I was all "what were they thinking". Well they always say "never judge a book by it's cover" because this soup, without adding anything spices, was amazing by itself and perfect for our soup and sandwich night.

It went perfectly with grilled cheese and peanut butter sandwiches. It has the perfect creamy texture and just a hint of sweet. The only regret I have it not trying the soup sooner.

We do have plans for the Super Reds flavor again. As we were eating our soup last night we were discussing what it would best be paired with. We came up with a tortellini and grilled chicken soup idea... we will let you know how it goes.

Calling all Mumsies...

I am always looking for the BEST when it comes to moisturizers and I have paid a pretty penny for some too. I have an oily face and break out at the drop of a hat. With that I refuse to put sunscreen on my face or I will break out. Until Influenster gave me the opportunity to try this brand called Mumsie and it is all natural

Trust me I was skeptical at first. I was afraid of what it would do to my face but so far so good. I use it daily and it doesn't leave my face oily and I have not broke out from it. It has a SPF 15 in it too so I can be protected from the sun. I have found the moisturizer for which my skin loves and I will be looking no more.

Catching the Zzzzz's

All mothers know that once you have kids you never sleep again. With my older two I really couldn't complain. They slept through the night at 6 weeks however Evan is going on 10 months and still hasn't figured it out. We, meaning I, are up between 2-5 times a night. Add a toddler sleeping in my bed and I just do not sleep.

I am truly not one to medicate myself to a coma and those that know me know that I don't even take an aspirin for a headache. But desperate times call for desperate measures. When I was asked to try ZzzQuil I thought, heck what could it hurt.

These were the games I played in one night before I finally fell asleep.
In between games I lay there for 15-20 minutes before I just need to be
doing something so I pick up the ipad and start playing yet another game.

A normal bed routine for me is to get all the boys bathed and ready for their 8:30p bed time. I then finish up what I am doing downstairs and turn in about 9-9:30p. After crawling in bed my husband always had the tv however, I am not a tv in bed person so I take my glasses off lay there for a few trying to fall asleep on my own before just giving in and grabbing my ipad and either reading a book or playing some game before finally falling asleep. I never know really what time I actually fall asleep. Then I normally have Oliver kicking me, stealing my blanket or kicking me off the bed so I will put him in his bed (for the 30th time) only for him to return about an hour later. Some where in there Evan will have woke once maybe twice either for a bottle or a diaper change. This is repeated 4-5 more times and then my alarm goes off.

There was one night I told Tim I don't care if they scream and wake the whole house he will be taking over my nightly routine so I can sleep. I popped one of these gel caps about 15-20 minutes before heading to bed and I don't even remember playing my first round of Solitaire before dozing off. I had the best night sleep I had had in well... almost 10 months.

I received #ZzzQuil for testing purposed however all the opinions are my own.

I am in Love...

I don't post reviews here often but when I do it is because I have tried the product for some time and truly love it. I was sent the St. Ives Vox Box back in December and I was pretty skeptical. I have always used one kind of liquid body soap, face wash and body lotion. I am the type that gets set in my ways and I do not budge, why fix what isn't broken right... wrong! I started using the St. Ives products and I kept looking for my skin start getting dry, my face to break out from the face cleanser/mask or even not like the scents of what was provided. I never found anything wrong, actually I found myself re-stocking the products I loved them so much, I even got different scents to try. Guess what... I am still in love and I have officially switched from my old brand to St. Ives.

I was given free product for this review but all words and opinions are my own.

The Post is Brought to You by the Letter R...

"R" for Reese's Spreads. There are a ton of spreads out there but none that taste this good. It seriously tastes like you are eating a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

I know this is one that probably wouldn't last a full week in our house. My husband LOVES Reese's candy so when I showed him this gem his eyes lit up like a kids on Christmas morning. He started rambling off the things he could pair it with... his first thought Strawberry Jelly and Reese's Spread sandwich, pancakes, and a bacon. He has a thing for sweets. I pared mine with Pretzel Crisps because I like the sweet and salty flavor and I don't venture much out of my comfort zone.

Carter loved his on apples and banana chips, which got my second vote and Oliver just loved it straight from the spoon.

It makes for a good snack where everyone can eat it in their own way... This product has found a permanent spot on our shopping list.

** I received this product complimentary and simply for testing (and I am so glad I got the opportunity) however, the words and opinions are my own (and my families).
