Friday's Recipe (Bacon Cheeseburger Dip)

In honor of this past Superbowl Sunday I am posting the dip I attempted to make with turned out to be a success. Of course I found the dip on Pinterest.com and thought I would give it a try, it is Bacon Cheeseburger Dip. The recipe is featured on the blog of Closet Cooking so head on over and check out the recipe. Now I didn't bake mine in the oven or top it with lettuce or tomato, we put ours in a crock pot for easier transport and so we weren't using someones oven to warm it up.

On Closet Cooking it didn't indicate anywhere what was recommended to eat this amazing dip with, even though one picture showed tortilla chips and like the above picture toasted french bread pieces, the decision was mine. So I served mine with toasted french bread pieces, the narrow loaves. I sliced them at an angle and placed them flat on the baking sheet and baked them at 350 for about 10-15 minutes. I then let them completely cool before putting them into a container and putting the lid on, I didn't want to risk holding moisture in and making my bread soggy. This dip was a hit.

Thanks Closet Cooking for sharing an amazing recipe.
